Moovin' in the Pasture: Walk with Cows

$8 per person, recommended for adults & older children

Put on your boots and be prepared for a special behind the scenes visit to one of the most interesting places on the whole farm…our pastures! You will get a chance to get up close with our cows as they feed on forage and learn about how we care for these animals and our land. We’ll also focus on how our farmers rotate cows between the different pastures, and make sure our milking herd is getting the best possible grasses and feed. Please be prepared to walk through active pastures with cows. Boots highly recommended.

Milking Parlor Viewing

Free, recommended for ages 6 and up

Come join us on the farm and take a closer look into our dairy operations here at Wolfe’s Neck Center. Explore the public areas of our new dairy facility and meet our hardworking cows and calves, and step into our parlor viewing room between 5-6pm daily to witness a milking session. This behind the scenes peek is a great chance to get up close and see how our farmers care for our animals and learn some fun cow facts to take home with you. Viewing room is open daily—no registration needed.

Bring your boots as we head out to pasture for an up close look at our mobile chicken tractor. We’ll learn all about how we raise our laying hens here at Wolfe’s Neck Center and keep our ladies healthy and happy! You’ll even get to gather your own eggs to take with you for your next breakfast.

Taste of the Farm

Come get a “taste” of the farm as you visit our organic vegetable gardens and fields! You’ll see and taste the fruits and vegetables that are in season and harvest them for a snack made with organic Stonyfield yogurt produced with milk from our cows.

Ice Cream Sunday
