Saturday, April 18: Super Compost Workshop

Everyone knows how to make compost, right? Well would you throw some grapes in a bucket and after a month come back and drink what’s in the bucket? No! Neither should you use compost that you make in this way.  Making truly beneficial hot compost is both and art and a science with certain requirements and procedures that must be followed. In this hands on workshop, we will discuss all the essential points and the obstacles to making compost and together we will start a pile of thermal compost for you to replicate at home.

About the Presenter: Spero Latchis CCH is the founder of Living Soil Network and longtime student of soil microbiologists Dr. Elaine Ingham and professor Walter Jehne. He regularly lectures on the profound relationship between soil health, human health, and planetary health.
