Melody Larson

I grew up in the town of New Gloucester, Maine, where I learned about planting seeds in the garden, where I raised chickens and was in the 4H poultry club, where I played in the forest, and where the love of the outdoors in all seasons was ignited in me. Currently, I am studying Environmental Policy at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. This past semester though, I have been studying abroad in Ecuador where I have had the most wonderful opportunity to experience many different and diverse ecosystems from the Amazon to the Galápagos. This summer I am most excited to spending more time outdoors, eating fresh veggies, and of course hanging out with some cool kids who are just as excited to do the same!
