Josie Gillett

My name is Josie and I’m from Seattle, Washington. I graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies from Bates College in 2019 and am stoked to be spending the summer in Maine! I love cooking, farming, spending time outside and understanding how things work and am so excited to pursue all of these passions at Wolfe’s Neck this summer. When I’m not at the farm, I’ll be playing sports, exploring Portland, hanging out near water and eating good food. I’ve been working outside and with kids for over four years and I’m so looking forward to continuing that this summer!

‘It’s a sad time to be a farmer.’

The USDA funding freeze is hitting Wolfe’s Neck Center hard. We are asking for your help to continue connecting people to agriculture and training the next generation of farmers.
