Jennifer Core is our Operations Director, supporting Wolfe’s Neck Center’s national work in transforming the food system through scaling agricultural practices that support ecosystems and stabilize climate now and for the generations to come. This work includes convening developers of critical technology, supporting producer adoption of key practices and contributing to the architecture of a marketplace for climate-smart agricultural products.
Jennifer brings to Wolfe’s Neck Center and our national work leadership and experience in new and beginning farmer training, farmland protection, agroecological research and trials, farmland access and agricultural business development. She most recently served as Director of Agriculture at The Trustees of Reservations, a statewide Massachusetts conservation organization where she led a team of accomplished production farmers, scientists and land stewards.
As a thoughtful land manager on her own family farm, Jennifer appreciates the power of agricultural practice choices. She brings to her work a deep respect for the responsibility held by producers in caring for our commons – ensuring that farmland is stewarded in a way that supports a biodiverse future and serves as a natural climate solution.
Outside of her professional work, you’ll most often find Jennifer relishing her family – typically shoulder to shoulder on the farm or in the kitchen.
