Growing up in New York City in the 80s and 90s, Harry thought all food came from the corner store or the supermarket. At the age of 10 he was shipped off to a summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York where the children and staff tended to and enjoyed food from an organic farm. His eyes were opened, and his interest in food and farming has only grown since.
Harry came to Wolfe’s Neck Center in 2023 after working for the national nonprofit Child Mind Institute from 2010 to 2022. He holds a masters degree in public health from the City University of New York and brings a public health lens to communicating impact and storytelling. He is on the board of the Portland-based nonprofit Maine Boys to Men and is pleased to be raising his two children in Maine with his wife, a native of Brunswick.
