CIG Plot Analysis

Leah Puro, Wolfe’s Neck Center Agricultural Research Coordinator, and Rick Kersbergen, University of Maine Cooperative Extension Professor, go through a test plot of warm seasonal annuals planted in June. The plot includes Japanese millet, Boyd soybean, tillage radish, and sorghum. Rick discusses the different forages, why they’re important in a dairy system, and how they can be used in Northeast climates.
