From January 30th to 31st in Manchester, NH, the New England Grazing Network organized the biannual Northeast Grazing and Livestock Conference. Over two days, more than 300 in-person and virtual attendees came together to share practical experience, research findings and data-driven insights designed to improve grazing for farmers, livestock and the lands we steward. In every session we attended, we found these three considerations apparent: How do farmers improve their businesses, create ecological value and support their communities?
The regenerative agriculture calculus isn’t always easy. But “no one wants to be outside this trend,” as one presenter said. Wolfe’s Neck Center is a proud member and the facilitating organization of the New England Grazing Network. Stay tuned for more updates about the conference.
