Research & Demonstration

We partner to build the scientific evidence for regenerative agriculture and demonstrate best practices through organic dairy and fruit and vegetable production.

Casco History Lab

The Casco History Lab, currently in development, is a unique public resource connecting the rich history, landscapes, natural resources, and built environment of Wolfe’s Neck Center’s campus and its Harraseeket River environs.

On-Farm Research and Partnerships

We collaborate with research partners to perform on-farm research projects and share this knowledge to further inform environmental and agricultural advances for farmers.

Fruit and Vegetable Demonstration

Four acres of production, high-tunnel greenhouses, and small orchards let us model regenerative practices and conduct research that directly benefits Maine’s vegetable farming community.

Organic Dairy Program

Wolfe’s Neck Center’s Organic Dairy Research and Training program serves as a testing ground for new management technologies and techniques, including rotational grazing.

Carbon Footpath

This self-guided tour created in partnership with Bigelow Laboratories can be experienced on campus or digitally. Learn about the carbon cycle and its importance for our health and environment.
