A viable future for farming means training farmers in resilient methods that meet the challenges of extreme weather, and creating markets that connect consumers to producers and value farm products produced this way. On our farm, we provide training in regenerative agriculture to aspiring farmers and facilitate networks committed to increasing farmer viability. Nationwide, we are working with farms, food companies, and other partners on innovative financing and training programs that are accelerating holistic change in food systems.
Through these networks, Wolfe’s Neck Center facilitates information sharing and regenerative practice adoption amongst food systems leaders who drive innovation in agriculture.
Regenerative agriculture adoption faces two key barriers: access to technical knowledge and access to markets and financing. Our approach: bringing farmers and food companies together.
The USDA funding freeze is hitting Wolfe’s Neck Center hard. We are asking for your help to continue connecting people to agriculture and training the next generation of farmers.
